Heated Area Example

How to calculate the square footage of the heating area?

Start by identifying the area that you would like to warm. Do not include areas that are occupied by fixtures such as a bath tub, toilet or cabinets.

Divide the area into rectangular zones as illustrated below. Be sure to measure the length and width of each zone as accurately as possible.

For each rectangular zone, enter the length and width in feet and inches. You can add more zones if needed and we will calculate the total square footage for you.
