 Description

Keep driveways, walkways, ramps, and steps clear of snow and
ice with the automatic NeverFreeze® Snow & Ice Melting Kit. Designed
for permanent installation beneath concrete, asphalt, and pavers, this complete
electric snow-melting package combines a NeverFreeze® electric heating mat with
an automatic 2-zone snow melt controller featuring a built-in precipitation
sensor.

NeverFreeze® cable (using 4 Inch Spacing) and mats (24 Inch width)
simplify layout and installation while providing consistent 45 W/ft² heating
output across the heated area. With multiple configurations available,
NeverFreeze® can accommodate applications ranging from narrow driveway tire
tracks and walkways to larger snow-melting areas.

The included outdoor-rated controller automatically detects
precipitation and temperature conditions to activate the system when snow or
ice is present. Adjustable temperature settings, precipitation sensitivity, and
a programmable drying delay help keep surfaces clear after snowfall while
eliminating the need for shoveling, salting, and manual system operation.

Can cold lead wires be cut?
A qualified licensed electrician may cut, extend, or splice cold lead wires in a junction box when allowed by the installation manual and local code. Contact ThermoSoft before making changes.
Can I cut the heating cable?
No. The heating cable must never be cut. Cutting the heating cable will destroy the system and void the ThermoSoft Warranty.
How does electric snow melting compare with hydronic snow melting?
