The Cincinnati Zoo, the breeders of Parma Wallabies, and the Boy Scouts of America had one thing in common. They all desired to keep the baby Wallabies in their care warm and healthy over the bitter cold of Ohio winters. The question was, " How to do it"?
The team then turned to Thermosoft for electric radiant floor heat. The plan called for a 6' x 8' heated cement floor, sufficient to accommodate up to six wallabies. "The warm floor will provide a place for the wallabies to go to protect them from the cold," said Ben.
"Thermosoft was glad to be part of the project", said Vice President, Russ Dunn; "after all, our mission is to warm the world safely, comfortably and affordably. Although our products are typically installed for people to enjoy comfort, energy savings and enhanced property values, many of our customers tell us their pets love warm floors too. "
The Wallabies will stay with the breeder until they are requested by and released into the care of the Cincinnati Zoo or some other zoo. Until then, the Wallabies don't seem to mind enjoying the soothing comfort of Thermosoft's warm floors. Nor do they seem to mind having horses as neighbors.
